Simple D Tutorial

D example programs

Most of these examples have been duplicated at the tutorial section at dsource.org. I've been phasing out these Tripod tutorial pages in favor of that project. The resource links at the bottom might still be of particular interest, though.

Basic

• It Compiles: a minimalist program if there ever was one.
• Comments: good documentation is a good idea.
• Do Something: abbreviated "hello world" without the world.
• Variables: introduction to variables.
• If-Else: simple — but effective — flow control.
• For Loop: D for loop compared to BASIC for-next loop.
